Open daily, Prime welcomes visitors for drinks and light lunches from 1pm over summer and dinner from 5pm year round.

With superb views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains through floor to ceiling glass windows, our guests experience a welcoming ambience featuring a central fireplace and leather armchairs.

Private Dining and Functions

As well as offering a stylish environment for intimate dinners, Prime is also the perfect venue for private functions and has hosted many successful wedding receptions and conference dinners.

We offer a private area that seats 40 guests and features lake views and includes access to our data projector and screen.

We have the capacity to seat 180 for a sit down dinner or 250 for drinks and canapés. The raised platform at one end of the restaurant is ideal for live entertainment, guest speakers or a top table for wedding receptions and our balcony is popular for break out.

We have an extensive range of set menus and finger food options available, along with a fantastic beverage selection.

Lake-side Dining

On fine days over summer we offer outdoor seating on our upstairs balcony as well as on the lawn within Prime's lake-side walled area. A light lunch menu is offered from 1pm until 5pm when our a la carte dinner menu starts.
